摘要
目的探讨Herbst矫治器治疗阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停综合征(OSAS)的疗效和副作用. 方法选择诊断为OSAS的患者16例,佩戴Herbst矫治器治疗.治疗前做多导睡眠图(PSG)检查,摄头颅侧位片,制作牙模Ⅰ.治疗后3个月,做PSG评价疗效;治疗后14～24个月,摄头颅侧位片和制作牙模Ⅱ,与治疗前作对比测量. 结果治疗后PSG参数减小,头颅侧位片测量骨骼无明显改变,牙模测量牙咬合有明显改变,磨牙的前后位置改变. 结论 Herbst矫治器是治疗OSAS的有效方法,治疗期间定期做口腔科随访很有必要.
Objective To study the effect and side effect af Herbst oral appliances （Herbst OAs） in the treatmeat of obstractive aleep apnea syndrome （OSAS）. Methods Sixteen cases with OSAS were selected to wear Herbst oral appliance. Polysomnography （PSG） was used before and after 3 months of treament to evaluate the therapeutic effect. We analyzed the lateral cephalogram and dental casta before initiating treatment and after 14 - 24 months of trcatmeat. Results PSG studies confirmed improved breathing parameters with the use of OAs. No skeletal changes in the position of the mandible were noted. A significant alteration in the occlusion was found. The anteroposterior position of the molar was changed. Conclusion OAs is effective for the treatment of OSAS, regular dental follow-up visits are necessary when lifelong OSAS treatment with an OAs is being conaidered for patients with OSAS.
