摘要
首先介绍Ontolingua Server、Onto Saurus等8种常见的本体构建工具,然后提出一个包括可用性、软件结构、文件格式、知识表达能力、推理机制5个方面、19个二级指标的评价框架,并运用该评价框架对上述8种工具进行比较。最后,在分析比较的基础上,探讨本体构建工具的发展趋势。
Ontology attracts many attentions nowadays in computer science and artifitial intelligence（AI）. Many tools for building ontologies are developed and applied to building a good many domain ontologies. The workload of building domain ontology and its quality rest to a certain extent on the chosen ontology-building tool. In this paper, we survey eight kinds of familiar ontology-building tools, and then present an evaluation framework, which includes usability, soft structure, file format, knowledge expression capability and reason mechanism. We compare these tools by the aid of the evaluation framework, and then address the development trend of ontologybuilding tools.
