"Security" in the Context of Globalization: the Reconstruction of a Concept

摘要基于全球化背景,国际关系学界对“安全”概念进行了重新建构。其核心就是“延伸”和“拓宽”现实主义国家安全观。“延伸安全”就是从垂直纬度上将安全的指涉对象从国家向下延伸到次国家和个人,向上延伸到全球和整个人类;“拓宽安全”就是从水平层次上将安全议题从军事领域拓展到政治、经济、社会、环境等领域。这导致一种对“安全”概念的综合化和多学科的定义。 Against the background of globalization, international relations theorists have reconstructed the concept of 'security'. The core of the reconstruction is the 'extension' and 'broadening' of realist national security concept. 'Extension' means the vertical extension of security targets from nation-state down to sub nation-state and individual and up to the globe and all humankind. 'Broadening' means the widening of the coverage of security issues horizontally from the military field to political, economic, social and environmental fields. This leads to a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary definition of the concept of security.
