摘要
众多设备制造商的不同类型的通信设备服务于通信网,由于每个设备没有位置信息,因而无法知道相应设备的位置和覆盖范围,势必带来设备管理的困难。解决方法是将地理信息系统(GIS)应用于网络设备管理系统中。GIS支持地理空间数据的采集、存储和显示,并能将地理空间数据与相关参考数据关联以提供信息查询与分析。文章提出了一种结合了GIS技术的网络设备管理系统,并给出了相应的系统框架、系统模块、系统管理流程,认为该方案能更有效地管理和维护网络设备。
The telecom equipment operating on telecom networks is varied and from different vendors. There is no location information about it. Therefore, the equipment location and the areas covered are unknowable. This brings difficulties to equipment management, The solution is to adopt Geographic Information System （GIS） in the network equipment management system. GIS supports the collection, storage and display of geographic space data, and provides information inquiry and analysis by relating the geographic space data with reference data. This paper introduces a network equipment management system using GIS technologies. Its architecture, modules and management flow chart are presented, it is concluded that this system could provide more efficient management and maintenance of network equipment.
