摘要
目的:研究记忆力受损老年病人的MRI的表现,并且测量这些病人的海马体积。材料和方法:对12例(56~68岁,7例男性,5例女性)有进行性记忆力损伤的病人进行了研究。用0.5TMR扫描机(PickAsset)对所有病人及18例志愿者进行检查。应用倾斜冠状扫描(垂直于海马长轴)。层厚3mm(RF-FAST)和5mm(FSE),无层距。手动勾画海马边界。所有层面海马体积相加得出整个海马体积。利用头颅大小对海马进行标准化,计算记忆商及检验。分析了记忆商与海马体积的关系。结果:病人的海马体积显著地低于志愿者。记忆商与海马体积有很好的相关性(r=0.77,P<0.05),除海马萎缩外,海马旁回和颞叶前部也见萎缩。他们中的一些人伴有皮层下斑点。结论:MR可以显示记忆力损伤病人海马及海马旁回萎缩。海马萎缩可能是Alzheimer氏病的一个早期标志。
Purpose : To stady the MRI appearances of patients with impairment of memory and measure the volume of HPFs in these patients.Materials and Methods: Twelve cases (56~68yr, 7 male, 5 female )with progressive impairment of memory were studied. All patients and 18 volunteers were examined with 0.5 Tesla scanner( Picker Asset). They were scanned in oblique coronal sections(perpendicular to the long axis of HPF). The slice thickness was 3 mm(RF-FAST)and 5mm(FSE ) without gap. The margin of HPFs was outined mannually.Volume of HPF in all slices was added together to get the volume of whole HPF. The HPF volume was standardized by the skull size. The memorial quotient(MQ )of the patients and controls was calculated and the relationship between MQ and HPF volume was analyzed. Results:The volume of HPF in patients was significantly smaller than that of volunteers. MQ was closely correlated with the volume of HPFs(γ=0.77,p<0. 05). Besides the atrophy of HPFs,the atrophy of parahippocampal gyrus and anterior temporal lobe was also found in the patients.Some of them were with subcortical spots. Conclusions: MRI can show the atrophy of HPFs and parahippocampal gyri in patients with memory impairment. The atrophy of HPFs may be an early marker of Alzheimer sdisease.
