State of art in quality control systems of polymer production processes

摘要 综述了聚合物生产过程中质量控制技术的重要性,讨论了在线软测量和牌号切换操作的质量控制、建立能真实反映过程机理的质量模型,是实现聚合物质量精密控制的核心;介绍了进行过程全局质量控制的必要性,对该领域的难点问题及可能的研究方向进行了探讨。 For the polymer production industries, the competitive edge will come from the technology that excels in controlling the polymer quality in a consistent way over the entire plant. The state of the art quality control systems of polymer production plant is reviewed, with the main focus on on-line soft-sensing and optimal grade transition control problems. It is proposed that the most important factor in developing an intelligent quality control system is quality modeling and implementing plant-wide quality estimation and control is beneficial. Finally, some open problems and potential development trends of the field are pointed out.
