摘要
本文对目前国内电磁学关于金属接触电势差的解释提出不同的看法,指出金属接触电势差完全由两金属的脱出功决定,不存在由脱出功以外的电子密度不同这一因素而造成的所谓内接触电势差。
This paper puts forward an idea on metal-metal contact potential difference, which is different from the explanation given in our current electromagnetic courses It points out that the contact potential difference is produced solely by the work function difference between two metals and the so-called internal contact potential difference assumed due to the electron density difference(apart from the work function difference) does not exist.
