摘要
通过汾渭盆地与河南平原地区更新统介形类化石组合的对比，作者认为：黄河东段（三门峡以东）形成的时代为中更新世初期或早更新世末期，里今约七八十万年至一百万年左右。
After constracting between the Pleistocene ostracods fossil assemblage in the Fenwei Basin and in the Henan Plain district, the author suggests that the eastern section of the Yellow River (east of Sanmenxia) had formed during the initial stage of the Middle Pleistocene or the last stage of the Early Pleistocene, i. e. about 0. 7 to 1 Ma age.
