In order to compare and distinguish the injured symptoms of tobacco blade exposed tO SO2 and.O3 with lesion of weather fleck and to confirm the causes of weather fleck,the dynamiC stress exposure of tobacco to SO2 and O3 in single and combination was conducted in open top field chambers.The results indicated that the symptom cauSed by SO2 and O3 was the same as that of weather fleck discovered in fields;SO2 and O3 were Proved to be the major causes of the disease,tobacco was more sensitive to O3 than to SO2,and the complex exposure of SO2 and O3 led to the synergistic reaction in tobacco.
