Objective To study the compliance to fluid adherence in hemodialysis(HD) patients and its influencing factors. Methods Two hundred and fortysix hemodialysis outpatients were investigated by questionnaires and anthropometric indices. Results Non-compliance rate was 54.5 %, There were statistically significant differences in fluid compliance among patients with different fluid control intent, years of HD, residual urine, age, financial status, course of uremia, depression level, knowledge level, and use of cathartic or not( P 〈 0,05). Logistic regression model analysis showed that 6 influening factors had statistically significant differences ( P 〈 0.05). They were fluid control intent, years of HD, using cathartic or not, residual urine, ages and knowledgelevel according to regression coefficient. Conclusion Emphasis of clinical nursing intervention is to improve fluid compliance in HD patients. Patients should be educated to build up the confidence of fluldcontrol and realize it is useful to treatment and end recovery.
