摘要
利用变分法和数值模拟解G ross-P itaevsk ii-G inzburg方程,研究了原子的三体作用对波色-爱因斯坦凝聚体(BEC)孤子的演化的影响,发现三体作用的影响大于两体作用的影响,并与三体作用是排斥还是吸引有关。其效果与势阱中的原子数、势阱系数和BEC孤子脉冲的初始宽度有关。
The evolution characteristics of the Bose - Einstein Condensate (BEC) soliton with three - body interactions are investigated with a variational approach and direct numerical simulations of the Gross - Pitaevskii - Ginzburg equation. It is found that the effects of the three - body interactions on the evolution characteristics of the BEC soliton are larger than the ef- fecs of the two - body interactions. Its effect depends on the sign of the interactions, the number of atoms in the trap, the coefficient of the trap and the initial pulse width of the BECs soliton.
