摘要
英语的交际功能决定了它在实际运用中应该处的地位,本文多角度地深刻阐明了英语口语教学发展和学生口语提高的障碍与突破,把学生口语提高的内因与外因,教学过程的本质与现象相结合,探讨分析了英语口语教学的定位与发展倾向。形象化地解读了英语口语应该从格式化与机械地操练中解脱出来的道理。
The communication function of English determines the position where it should be in the practical application. This paper expounds profoundly the obstacles and brcak-through of the oral English tcaching development and the students' oral English improvement. Combining the internal causes and external causes of studcnts' oral English improvement as well as the essence and phenomenon of the teaching process,it probes and analyzes the directional position and development trend of oral English teaching. It cxplains specifically the principle that English teaching should free from the formal and mechanical drill.
