Fabrication of SiC Components by Slip Casting

摘要 本文论述了影响SiC泥浆性能的几个主要因素,运用SiC粉料Zeta电位随PH值变化曲线作指导,通过PH值调整和改变分散介质,着重研究了SiC泥浆稳定性、泥浆浇注样品的性能和显微结构,获得了浇注性能好、长时间稳定不沉淀的泥浆。分析了浇注过程中的各种影响因素,讨论了泥浆性状对浇注性能及样品烧结后力学性能的影响,最终浇注出大尺寸SiC陶瓷部件。 Three SiC powers with various particle size: C-SiC (0. 9μm), G-SiC (0. 8μm) and N-SiC (0. 6μm) was dispersed in medium to prepare SiC slip. The effects of pH on the rheological and technological properties of SiC slip were investigated, and a series of SiC articles was carried out. Green density, density after sintering and bending strength was. respectively, up to 1. 74g/cm3. 3. 05g/cm3 and 357MPa. By changing pH, viscosity etc, green densities of SiC casting samples can be adjusted from 1. 30 to 1. 74g/cm3 for different application of SiC articles.Finally, green bodies of SiC combustion chambers with the size of φ48mm, 80mm length and 5mm thickness of φ188mm, 180mm length and 8mm thickness were casted and sintered at 2150℃. The densities after sintering and bending strengths of combustion chambers were reached all above 2. 95g/cm3 and 300mpa.
