摘要
文章介绍了国际标准组织中下一代网络(NGN)体系结构的最新研究进展,探讨了下一代网络可能的演进路线:从软交换到因特网协议(IP)多媒体子系统(IMS),即网络走向融合的道路。文章着重介绍了IMS的结构和功能实体。
In this paper, the up to date research progress of NGN architecture in some international standard organizations were introduced, and some possible evolution roadmap of next generation network was discussed, from softswitch to IMS, is the road of network to convergence. We gave some emphasis to the structure and function entities of the IP multimedia subsystem.
