摘要
本文首先介绍了Internet上化学、化工资源的两个重要指南信息,然后通过具体的资源实例,说明Internet上各种化学、化工资源的概貌,力求反映不同提供者和不同服务的资源特点。本文所介绍的资源包括Internet的图书目录Titlenet、UnCover的文章拷贝服务、免费获取最新美国专利目录、与化学化工有关的通信讨论组、STN联机检索系统、AspenTech公司的WWW家庭页、美国国家标准与技术研究院的WWW家庭页、美国化学工程师协会的WWW家庭页等。本文还对Internet资源的特点以及如何利用Internet获取化学,化工资源作了简短的讨论。
In this paper, two important Internet resource guides on chemistry and chemical engineering are introduced first. Then introductions to a number of chemical resources on Internet are given to show the resource characteristics of different provider and different services. Resources examples includes Internet publications catalog Titlenet, Uncover's paper copy services, free lists of US patents, chemical mailing list, the international scientific data bases STN, the WWW homepage of AspenTech, AIChE, and National Institute of Standards and Technology of the United States. Natures of Internet resources and how to find resources on Internet are also briefly discussed.
