摘要
比较研究中西悲剧精神是探索中西文化心理、人文艺术精神和文学艺术实践活动的一条重要路径。人们所以喜爱使人产生痛苦的悲剧是因为违逆人的生命自由本质的矛盾会使人在发生痛感的同时唤醒心灵自由本质的扩张。西方人关于痛感转化为快感的思考成果是创造了一个新的审美范畴———崇高。中国人在审美活动中也触及到了悲哀转化为悲壮的问题。中西方人都具有审美意义上的悲剧精神,中西方人都探讨过悲剧精神的审美意蕴。
Comparative researches between the Chinese and Western tragic spirits is an important approach to explore the cultural psychology, humanistic spirit and practice of both Chinese and Western literature and arts. The reason why reader more often than not love pain - inflicting tragedies lies in the fact that the dramatic conflicts running against man' s freedom as his essence would certainly awaken the reader's desire for the expansion of his psychological freedom, while inflicting pains on him. The Westerners have created a new aesthetical category “sublime” as a result of their meditation on the transformation from pain to pleasure, while the Chinese touched on the problem that the transform from sorrow into solemnity in their aesthetical practices too. Both the Chinese and the Westerners have a tragic spirit based on aesthetical sense. Both of them have probed the aesthetic implications of the tragic spirit.
