摘要
通过网络测量获取性能参数并在此基础上进行性能监测,这是常用的网络性能管理方法,典型工具有M RTG.对于性能数据的处理较普遍地是采用平均化和轮循刷新的方式保存,这使得原始的细节数据随时间而湮没.从尽可能展示原始数据的角度出发,一种网络性能动态展示的方法被提出.同时,结合了字节速率和数据包速率的联合展示方法被证明更能准确地反映网络性能,并在网络安全方面有所帮助.在此基础上根据Ho lt-W in ters预测算法对网络性能进行了相关预测.
It is a common methodology in the field of network management that performance variables are retrieved through active or passive measurement and then network performance monitoring is performed based on them, for example, MRTG is a typical tool. Commonly performance data are dealt through averaging or round robin flushing, which causes that raw details are lost as time elapses. From the view of presenting all raw details, a method to network performance monitoring is submitted as a dynamic extension to MRTG. At the same time, the joint presentation including octet speed and packet speed proves efficient for performance monitoring, and useful in the field of network security. Furthermore, based on raw details, Holt-Winters forecasting algorithm is adopted to generate prediction series and evaluate their relative accuracy by the metric of mean absolute percentage error.
