摘要
信息高速公路带给我们的不仅是一个新概念,而是一个未来必将实现的现实。其影响将使全世界的经济文化生活发生深刻的变化.未来的电子出版首先建立在科研工作者广泛使用计算机网络进行科学研究的背景上,必然代替现有的出版模式。其基本组成为高容量、多媒体的电子通信网络,完善的统一的计算机软硬件设施。种类繁多的出版信息特点为(1)出版语言国际通用化;(2)结构式论文;(3)出版前的电子预印服务加强;(4)独立(或称无定期)发表信息的方式;(5)文献检索与科学计量分析大大加强;(6)翻译出版加强;(7)信息存贮形式多样化等。未来的编辑将向信息管理者化、学者化、国际标准专业委员会组织者化演化,并且最终出版的主体将由科研工作者承担,出版发行的渠道将由作者直接进入高层次专家管理的网络而实现。
Xiao Hong.Information superhighway and future electronic publication.Chinese Journal of Scientific and Technical Perioclieals,1996;7(1):8-11 Recieved.1995-12-10 Information superhighway is not only a new concept,but also a near future reality.It surely brings about a deep revolu- tion of economy and culture in the world.The future electronic publication established on the base of more researchers using computer networks(eg,Internet)certainly will replace the present publishing mode.It shows the features of(1)uniformly applied publication language;(2)strutural form of artieles;(3)widely use of electronic pre-publication service;(4)inde- pendent loose-leaf journal publication;(5)strengthened index and citation systems;(6)more potent language translation sys- tem,and(7)polymorphism in saving information.The future editors would become information managers,special scholars, and international special standard committee organizers.The future publisher will be the author himself when his publication directly gets into the network under the control of network managements.
