摘要
整体社会史研究的理论属性与史学观念的价值取向是霍布斯鲍姆新社会史学思想的重要特征,构筑了史学思想体系的重要部分。就融合其社会历史观、历史认识论和方法论为一体的史学理论与实践来说,他关于整体社会史研究的深邃见解,体现了其史学研究的核心内容和史学观念价值。通过细致解析,我们可以清晰地厘定其整体社会史的马克思主义理论属性、史学价值目标和学科特性。这种整体社会史的理论架构就是借助结构模式与综合分析,构筑整体的社会历史。
The thesis attempts to expound the thought of new social history of Eric Hobsbawm, the contemporary British Marxist historian. It analyzes the concept of total social history of Hobsbawm through the combination of his theory and the practice of historical writing, his historical epistemology and methodology. It also analyses the relation between the implications of total social history of Hobsbawm and the basic theory of Marx. It believes the pursuing of total social history will be helpful to establish the total framework of society and understand history of human deeply.
