摘要
中国加入W TO后,引入国外先进的教学理念和教学方式以适应高等教育国际化的需要。培养既具备扎实的专业基本功底又通晓英语国家语言和文化的高级复合型专门人才已成为高等教育的当务之急。因而高等院校开展和推进双语教学的重要性和迫切性日益凸显。本文试从双语教学开展的意义和必要性以及实施双语教学所应具备的条件入手对双语教学的实施策略进行了较为深入的探讨。
With China＇s entry into WTO, it has become an urgent task for the higher education in China to introduce the advanced concepts and methodologies in teaching to meet the need of globalization of higher education and to turn out high-calibred talents with composite knowledge. Thus the promotion of bilingual teaching in colleges and universities is of great importance and of great imminence. The present essay endeavors to make a tentative inquiry into the significance of and possible strategies for the bilingual teaching.
