摘要
本文介绍了合肥同步辐射实验室逐圈束流位置测量系统的设计思想和实现方法。该系统用于判定二期工程升级后的注入系统的注入效率和衰减率,研究Beta振荡和轨迹瞬时变化以及其它束流动力学问题如工作点变化等方面的研究。文中介绍了使用宽带对数比电路对电极感应信号进行处理从而获得束流瞬时位置信息的信号处理方法。分析了监测系统对数据获取和定时系统的要求并详细地介绍了它们各自的实现方案。
During Phase Ⅱ project of NSRL, in order to monitor the injecting effectiveness, damping rate and β oscillation after update of injection and RF system, a turn-by-turn beam position monitor has been proposed for storage ring diagnostics. A log-ratio signal processing electronic circuit is used in this system. Its output is proportional to the difference of the logarithms of the signal amplitudes on opposite electrodes and is linear with bias position of electronic beam. The paper also developed a data acquisition system based on MASTER mode of PCI local bus and a high-speed remotecontrol timing system. This system can work in two modes : Tum-by-Tum and Phase Space Measurement.
