Objective: To investigate the abnormal tindeugo from EEG in delayed eneephalopathy after earbon monoxide poisoning and to ossess early diagnosis and prognosis role. Methods: EEC, was used in 32 cases of delayed encephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning. Result: The. abnormality rate of EEG was 100%. The maiuly findings were constantly slowing or disappearance of α wave and diffusely middle or high amplitude θ, δwave, mostly located on frontal and temporofrontal region. The longer the time of coma, the higher would the abnormality rate, and the more obvious the change of the wave pattern. The abnormal wave of EEG slowly disappeared when the patient was being well. Conclusion: EEG had important significance in early diagnosis and predicted prognosis in delayed eneephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning.
