摘要
随着３８６以上档次微机的普及，ＭＳ＿ＷＩＮＤＯＷＳ已逐渐成为当今ＰＣ机上的主流操作系统，它已是绝大多数ＰＣ用户所选的图形用户界面（ＧＵＩ），成为一种快速成长的应用程序开发平台，对象链接嵌入（ＯＬＥ）技术作为ＭＳ＿ＷＩＮＤＯＷＳ３．１ＡＰＩ的重要的扩展领域，如今已越来越显现其优越性，已成为一种连接应用程序和数据的功能强大而又易于使用的工具，被越来越多的应用软件所采纳。文中将系统地介绍ＯＬＥ技术上涉及的新概念及如何利用ＯＬＥ技术来设计应用程序，包括客户应用程序和服务应用程序。
With the growing power of PC serial computer, MS WINDOW becomes the main operating system on PC, which provides a standard GUI environment for the programers, and more and more application softwave based on MS WINDOW appears. Object linking and embedding (OLE) is a very important technique for MS WINDOW API and offers many benifits to the users. This paper describes the new concepts on the OLE technique and the implementation of OLE in applications that run with the Windows operating system. The paper also describes how an application can use linked and embedded objects to create compound documents,how to design OLE client application and OLE server application.
