在航空运输发展史上,短程或远程运输机的概念总是和航线的长短相联系的。支线飞机是典型的短程飞机,它主要用于地区民航公司,提供往返于中、小城镇的空运服务,因此支线飞机是一种要求在给定的短程航段上能进行最有效的飞行的飞机。支线飞机的使用特点短程使用:在短程航线上交通流量不大,但负荷高,使用频率高,要求飞机能以最大起飞重量在几个航段上作不加油的往返飞行,从而形成典型的“锯齿”飞行剖面。其平均航段距离大致为240～800千米,飞行高度为3500～6000米,飞行中爬升和下降时间所占比例较大。
The article introduces the status and development of world regional aircraft industry. It includes the operational features and technical upgrades of three generations of regional aircraft. Mean while it presents severe competition between regional manufacturers and reconstruction and recombination of world regional industry.Finally, the modes developing regional aircraft are introduced .
