摘要
The first field workshop of IGCP project 486 ‘Gold-silver-telluride deposits＇ was held over 7 days of perfect weather in early September in Alba Iulia, Romania, with field excursions focused on ore deposits of the Golden Quadrilateral, South Apuseni Mountains. 47 participants from 16 countries （Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, Uzbekistan） attended the workshop which consisted of three days of mine visits, a two-day scientific symposium at the University of Alba Iulia, and a two-day post-symposium excursion.
