摘要
这是一篇有关人口控制理论的综述性文章.人口问题是人类,特别是发展中国家面临的问题.本文的英文稿曾收集在1987年出版的“系统与控制百科全书”中,文中扼要地叙述了有关人口控制的一些最近的研究结果.理论的主要部分——人口指数,稳定性理论,人口增长的最优控制等,取材于作者所进行的研究.
This is a survey paper on the problems of population control theory, the most important one confronting mankind and, particularly, the developing countries. Its English version was included in SYSTEM & CONTROL ENCYCLOPEDIA, Pergamon Press, 1987. It summarizes the latest results of population control studies. The main parts of the theory: population indices, stability theory, optimal control of population growth, etc. are drawn from the investigations of the author.
