３４５催化剂是乙苯脱氢催化剂系列更新换代产品，具有高活性、高选择性及抗水防潮性好等优点。催化剂活性评价表明：性能稳定，乙苯转化率大于７５％，苯乙烯选择性大于９５％，苯乙烯收率大于７２％，超过或接近美国联合催化剂公司Ｇ－８４Ｃ及其改进型催化剂的水平。工业应用寿命大于２ａ，具有显著的经济效益。
A norel 345 catalyst for preparing styrene by ethylbenzene dehydrogenation was developed. The catalyst had high activity, high selectivity,good resistance to moisture and improved mechanical strength. The activity evaluation of catalyst showed that the catalyst had stable properties,the ethylbenzene conversion was more than 75%, styrene selectivity was more than 95%, styrene yield was more than 72%, which was similar to those of G-84C or its improved grades. The catalyst had notable economic benefit in commercial application.
