数据仓库（Data Warehouse）技术支持现代企业在决策中更迅速地、更准确地获得所需信息,是数据库技术的一个新的发展方向.本文阐述了数据仓库的基本概念、区别于数据库的几个特征,详细介绍了它的基本体系结构,最后对数据仓库技术的典型应用进行了简单介绍.
Data Warehouse can help modem enterprises get more precise information more quickly, and it is now one of new development orientations. In this paper, Data Warehouse＇s concept and its several characteristics contrast to Data Base＇s are put forward, then its fundamental architect is discussed in detail. At last, the typical application of Data Warehouse technology is also talked about.
