摘要
印度是世界上第六大能源消费国并且也是世界上能源消费增长最快的国家之一。随着印度经济的高速增长以及国内油气能源的不足,印度“缺油少气”的现象越发严重。国际原油价格居高不下,市场又不稳定,在这种情况下,使印度政府更加意识到了能源问题的严重性。印度政府只有加快能源战略的调整,才能确保未来的能源安全。
Presently, India has emerged as the 6th largest energy consumer and among globally quickest increasing consuming nations. With the economy's continuing and high-rate growth as well as deficiency of domestic oil/gas deposits, India becomes more vulnerable to a crisis of energy shortage. Unstable global market and escalating prices exacerbate the risk. Recognizing the gravity of the problem, India has to ensure its energy security by launching a renewed energy option aimed at tapping overseas sources.
