摘要阿米什在美国积极实践其宗教理念,坚持传统价值观念并顽强抵制现代性的侵袭。坚定的宗教信仰、独特的群体标识和灵活的生存战略使他们在传统和现代的夹击中保持着一种微妙平衡,在高度发达的美国维护了其传统文化,分享着大量现代物质文明却成功避免了现代社会的许多弊病,并且在20世纪兴旺发展。 In America the Amish actively puts its religious ideas into effect, upholding its traditional values and stubbornly rejecting invades of modernity. Its firm religious faith, distinct group logo and flexible living strategy make its peopl e keep a subtle balance when they are attacked from both the traditional and the modern. In this way they have greatly protected their traditional culture in highly develop ed America and shared a wealth of modern material civilization without infecting ma ny evils of modern society.
