摘要
语言的冗余非常普遍,它存在于语言的各个层面上,语音、句法、语义层面都存在冗余现象。冗余信息是语言本身所固有的。冗余在语言交际中具有重要的作用,在理解上,冗余具有信息修复功能,从表达方面看,尤其在语用层面上,冗余有助于语言表达的得体性,以达到一定的交际目的。
Based on the analysis of different types of language redundancy in sound system, syntax and semantics, the essay demonstrates that redundancy is the inherent feature of language. It further explores the functions of redundancy in language communication, its information revision function in understanding and its pragmatic function to achieve fitness in expression.
