摘要
本文主要依据化学化工(chemistry&chemistry engineering)、材料科学(material sciences)、生命科学(life sciences)、建筑工程(architectural engineering)4个学科特色,从数据库内容、检索费用、购买费用和检索实例四个方面对Dialog和STN进行征订比较。
On-line database is an all-around resource of database. But, because of the exorbitant cost of search, it will not offer the highest efficiency without the aborative choose and buy of the buyers. Nanjing University of Technology was established by merging Nanjing University of Chemical Technology and Nanjing Institute of Architectural and Civil Engineering in May 2001. Now, Nanjing University of Technology have become an engineering course university, and the subjects include chemistry engineering, material sciences, life sciences, architectural engineering and etc.. Here, we will compare Dialog On-Line Database with STN On-Line Database in content, cost of search, cost of buy, example of search base on the subject characteristic.
