摘要
中国是世界四大文明古国之一,也是世界文化发展史上唯一未因外族入侵而导致文化发展中断的国家,中国文化的延续性除了中国文化自身的内聚力外,根本因素在于中国文化所诞生的地理环境的保护机制:条件优越的农耕世界为中国文化发展的连续性提供了物质基础;辽阔的文化地域,使得中国文化有足以回旋的余地和应付环境变迁的能力;地理环境的偏远、封闭免除了中国文化遭受其他文明的冲击,保证了文化发展的连续性。
China is one ancient country of four greatest civilizations in the world, which is also the only country in the development history of world culture that doesn＇t disconnect cultural development because of foreign tribe invasion. The continuity of Chinese culture besides the cohesive force of Chinese culture, lies in the protection mechanism of the geographical environment emerged in the Chinese culture： the agricultural world with superior conditions provides the material foundation for the continuity of the Chinese cultural development; the vast cultural region enables the Chinese culture have enough leeway to circle round and ability to cope with the environmental changes; the remote and closed geographical environment has made the Chinese culture avoid the impact of other civilizations, which guarantees the continuity of cultural development.
