摘要
本文研究粒子数压缩态光场参与的和频过程中各输出光场的量子统计特性。我们导出了各输出光场和总输出光场的归一化量子噪声(Fano因子)随有效相互作用长度而变化的规律,发现非线性光学过程使输入场的量子噪声变大,使和频光场的量子噪声变小,显示输入光场的统计性质的特点能部分地转移给和频光场。
We investigate the quantum statistics of the output fields produced in sum frequency generation when photon number squeezeed light is used as input, The normalized photon fluctuations (Fano factors) of each output field and the total output field are derived for increasing values of the effective interaction length. It is found that the fluctuations of the total output field always increase but those of the sum frequency field decrease with increasing interaction length. It seems that the quantum statistical properties of the input beams can be transferred to a certain extent to the sum frequency beam.
