噪声提高球囊功能的研究

摘要 目的探讨作用于牛蛙球囊的噪声是否能够增强它的功能。方法在周期性信号(频率为100Hz)上加不同强度的白噪声电信号,驱动压电陶瓷(PZT),对5只浸入在外淋巴液中的牛蛙球囊直接使用该机械刺激,并记录第八对颅神经的球囊末梢的传入活动。结果在所有被测试的有反应牛蛙中,通过加纳米水平的白噪声(2.3纳米),能使得周期性刺激引起的神经活动的信噪比提高(平均4.1dB)。结论纳米水平的噪声能使周期性刺激引起的神经反应的信噪比得到实质性的改善。 Objective To study whether mechanical noise acting on the sacculus could enhance the SNR of the 8th nerve's response. Methods Driving PZT by adding white noise of various level to periodic signals(f = 100 Hz), the directly mechanical stimuli was give to the five sacculus submerged in a solution containing perilymph- like, and the afferent activity the 8th nerve was recorded. Results The SNR of the nerve signal was improved by addition nanometer - level noise to the periodic stimuli in all responsive animal(4.1 dB, on average). It was found that 2.3 nm of mechanical noise enhanced the response of the saccular nerve. Conclusion The addition of a few nanometers of noise to a periodic stimuli leads to a substantial improvement in the SNR of the nerve' s response.
