摘要
论述了元上都回回司天台在建台前的酝酿和准备工作及其建立和被毁过程,元上都回回司天台具有重要的历史作用和地位,它是蒙古族统治者和回回天文工作者相结合的产物,有其特殊的意义.
Thehistory of the Huihui Astronomical Observatory,which was located at Shangdu in the Yuan Dynasty and the first observatory of Arabic style in China,is discussed. The background and preparation for founding the observatory, the establishment of the observatory, the routine work and research work at the observatory and the destroying of the observatory are analyzed. And the historical role of the observatory is pointed out.
