This paper has done the introduction to the performance of the soft starter of electric and selecting type of the soft starter mainly, apply electrical soft starter feasibility to the boat has discussed, comparative pluses and minuses, drawing should this con-clusion of using soft starter of the electrical machinery on shipping in a morecost-effective manner.
