摘要
随着网络业务量的不断增长,如何在完成同样功能的多个网络设备之间实现合理的业务量分配就成了一个问题,负载均衡机制也因此应运而生。本文对Intel公司的IXP1200网络处理器进行研究,着重探讨其完全的可编程能力及强大的高速转发处理能力在实现负载均衡设备上的具体应用,最后对所设计实现的负载均衡设备在实验室内的测试结果进行了分析。
As the costant increasing of network operations, it's become a problem to handle the distribution of operations among several network equipments with the same functions, the load balance machanism emerges as time require. This paper does some research work on Intel IXP1200 network processor, discusses its application on load balance equipment implementation with its complete programmable ability and powerful high-speed transmitting and processing ability.
