The paper summarizes the last progresses of researches on attention processing mechanism of deaf individuals from the following three aspects : ( 1 ) the deaf individuals' visual attention processing characteristics in central and peripheral visual field; (2) the explanation of peripheral visual attention processing enhancement mechanism; (3) the deaf individuals' right visual field/ left hemisphere dominance of motion stimulus processing. These findings will contribute to build scientific theories of rehabilitation training for deaf individuals.
