大学理念是大学的精神与灵魂,对于大学的发展具有至关重要的作用。本文以被誉为“第一所美式大学”的芝加哥大学为视角,通过对芝加哥大学组织理念、研究理念和教学理念的阐述,对芝加哥大学走向世界一流大学的发展路径进行了探索,解析了美式大学特有的文化品性。
The perceptions of a university are the spirit and soul of a university, which play a decisive role for the development of a university. In the perspective of the University of Chicago known as “the first American style university”, this paper illustrates the thinking underpinning its organizational structure, research and teaching, explores its path towards the world-class university, and interprets the unique cultural properties of American-style universities.
