摘要
基于对以往的翻译理论的思考,认为传统译论流于随感,论述方法不够明晰,科学派的翻译观又过于机械、静态、片面,文化派译论虽有拓展,但过于偏激以致走向了瓦解翻译学的道路。通过对“意”译的思考和论证,认为原作之“意”是可以传达的,由此可以确立辩证、动态、整合式的翻译对等观。
Based on reflections on the past translation theories, the author holds that traditional translation theories are no more loose remarks, fuzzy and implicit while the theories of the Scientific School are too mechanic, static and lopsided, and that tile Cultural Scheol, though having moved ahead, has been too radical, and got into a wrong direction. After weighing over the problem of translating “meaning”, the author tries to show that the “meaning” of the original is conveyable, hence an integral notion of equivalence, which is dialectic and dynamic.
