摘要
生活在澜沧江以西与萨尔温江以东的怒山山脉南段崇山峻岭之中的佤族,在社会生活中特别崇拜牛。牛崇拜是佤族原始宗教信仰的产物,具有丰富的文化内涵,是其崇拜祖先、重视农耕和祈求丰产的山地农耕民族文化的表现。
The Wa Nationality lives in the southern deep mountains of the Nu Mountains west of the Lancang River and east of the Salween River. The Was worship buffalos very much. Their buffalo - worship is the result of their primitive religion with rich cultural connotations and the embodiment of the mountain farming culture which attaches importance to farming, the worship of their ancestry, and the praying for harvest.
