摘要
西部大开发是我国社会经济发展战略的重要一环,是具有深远意义的战略举措.西部大开发给高等教育提出了全新的要求同时也为其发展提供了广阔的空间.在阐述目前我国高等教育在多方面存在问题的基础上,探讨了如何全方位地改变我国传统的高等教育体制,在高等教育改革中如何实现由增长向发展的转变,以适应西部大开发的需要,适应社会主义市场经济的发展需要.
West Development is an important sector in the social and economic development strategy of China and a strategic measure with profound and lasting significance. West Development poses brand new requirements for higher education and extensive space for its development. Based on the expatiating on the existing problems in various aspects of higher education, this paper discusses the ways to change the traditional higher educational system all dimensionally, and to realize the change from growth to development in the reform of higher education so as to adapt to the requirements of West Development and the development of socialist market economy.
