The ultraviolet-visible spectra for copper(Ⅱ)complexes with α-Aminoacids, i. e. threonine, glutamic acid and lysine,were studied. From spectroscopic measurements,the complexes were found to dissociate readily in acidic media,and the kinetics of dissociation was estimated in the physiological pH conditions analogous to that in animal's digestive systems. The copper complexes with threonine and lysine are proposed to be amongst the appropriate feed additives.
