摘要
编译是电视体育新闻汉译的主要特点,是一个先编后译的过程,体育新闻的编译技巧,除增加、删除、重组等常用技巧之外,准确使用体育专业术语及行话、注意译名的准确性和统一性、巧用四字格和另设新闻标题等技巧在电视体育新闻汉译实践中也行之有效。
This paper points out that the main feature of translation of English TV sports news into Chinese is adapted translation, in the process of which editing proceeds translation. And some specific techniques are offered. Besides addition, omission and reconstructing which are common in the translation practice of various news texts, the following techniques are proved to be effective in E - C translation of TV sports news： to render the sports terminology and jargon correctly, standardize the translation of proper names, use Chinese 4 - character phraseology skillfully and recast the titles of news items.
