摘要
大学中的人文社会科学同自然科学一样,也具有或应当具有人才培养、科学研究及服务社会的多重功能。陕西师范大学关注社会需求和学科资源的交叉与渗透,并以此为突破口挖掘学术潜力和优势、积极服务社会的实践表明,大学传统的人文社会科学学科可以直接服务社会并产生良好的社会效益。在经济社会处于转轨时期的当代中国,大学人文社会科学要想更好地服务社会,必须在人们的观念中明确人文社会科学的科学性质,在繁荣人文社会科学路径的选择上优先采取自上而下的推进方式,在学科建设和资源投入中突出重点、形成比较优势,要善于捕捉和利用大好机遇,以较小成本取得较大收效。
Like physical sciences, social sciences in universities are or should be multi-functional： training graduates, conducting academic research, and serving the society. Shaanixi Normal University always pays close attention to social needs, and overlapping and permeation of disciplinary resources. Based on this consideration, it takes full advantage of academic potential and superiority and actively serves the society with all its might. Our practice and experience shows that classic humanities can serve the society directly and produce fine social effects. In contemporary China, which is going through an economic transfromation, humanistic and social sciences in universities should, first of all, clarify their nature as sciences. To serve the society better, they should attach priority to prosper from top to bottom, protrude the emphases in discipline construction and resources investment to form relative superiority, and try to catch and utilize excellent opportunities to achieve maximal effects with minimal cost.
