Effects of catalyst component, preparation method of catalyst, PH value of precipitate liquid, property of promoter, and reactiontemperature on the process results were discussed. The results showed thatusing Fe2O3-Cuo-MnO2/sepiolite as catalyst and H2O2 as oxidant, in theconditions of pH value 10. 5-11.0 of precipitant and reaction temperature280-320℃, the benzene conversion reached 36. 26 % and selectivity for phenol was 93. 45%. The reaction mechanism was explored preliminarily.
