摘要
地理信息系统平台软件开发商不断投入巨资研发升级换代产品，以跟上信息技术快速发展的步伐；而成熟的、商品化的地理信息系统平台软件在技术上总是比信息技术发展落后一大步，地理信息系统软件的发展已经陷入追逐信息技术的漩涡。为解决该问题，本文基于哲学中的“共相”思想，提出了“共相式地理信息系统”的概念，探讨了共相式地理信息系统软件的技术框架，并介绍了共相式地理信息系统平台软件的开发实践。共相式地理信息系统改变了地理信息系统平台软件的研发方式和产品的生命周期。
In recent years, huge resources are continually invested in upgrading GIS products to keep pace with the development of information technology （IT）. However, the phase difference between the rapidly changing IT and the technology being applied in mature/commercial available GIS software is still very large~ Therefore, GIS industry faces a risk on an endless technology tracing game. With reference to the Universal Problem in Philosophy, the authors provide us an innovative idea -- Universal GIS to escape from the risk. This paper illustrates the concept and the framework of Universal GIS. This new idea will alter the style of GIS development and the lifecycle of GIS platform.
