The paper introduces a type of the turn-to-turn insulation test equipment including an impulse-voltage generator and a peak voltmeter for the electrical machine pole coil. It explains the principle and key technique of the equipment in details and shows the test results. At the same time, the method of distinguishing and researching insulation.faults is discussed.
