摘要
在浙江省西天目山和杭州市郊区进行唐菖蒲留种繁育的对比试验结果，西天目山区夏季气候凉爽，昼夜温差大，适宜于唐菖蒲的生长，表现株高，叶色浓绿，叶层厚，叶面积大，花序长而挺拔，花形大，色泽艳，小花数多，球径大，种球繁殖系数高，病害轻，可开辟为唐菖蒲优良品种的繁育基地，生产优质种球，满足市场需要。
Study on gladiolus seed bulb production was Carried in Xitianmu mountain of Zhejiang province and Hangzhou suburb. The results showed that there was a cool summer and considerable temperature difference between day and night in Xitianmu mountain. The climate of Xitianmu mountain is favorable to gladiolus growth. The plants grown in Xitianmu mountain was tall and big with deep green color, considerable thickness and total area of leaves. The characteristics of inflorescence produced in Xitianmu were tall and straight with big diameter, fresh color and relatively more flower number. There were big diameter of bulb, high reproduction index and a little of disease in Xitianmu mountain. Thus the Xitianmu mountain is a appropriate site for gladiolus seed bulb production to produce large amount of good qulity seed bulb and keep the fresh flower demand of the market.
